DIANA & NICK  INDIAN WEDDING CELEBRATION
31TH MARCH 2012
Wedding Catering Byron Bay

Each and every wedding has its own unique style and special atmosphere.   As a precious day in our lives, it is to be memorable, have our personal signature, and most of all, be truly enjoyable.

Open Table recently catered for an Indian wedding with all the food based on traditional Indian cuisine and full of flavour and spice.  Colours and aromatics feature in this kind of food, making it warm and sensual- a fitting compliment to a wedding day.  Open Table likes to present our food in a form that enhances it- fabulous tasting food should also look great and a theme always gives us great scope.  We enjoy making each and every event unique- adding to the magic of a special day with delicious food and exemplary service.

We catered for the marriage of two yoga teachers on their beautiful hinterland rural property.  In keeping with their way of life, the happy couple chose a healthy, specialised vegetarian menu.  The white of the marquee in the garden enhanced the themes of wood and flowers, echoing the white garments of most of the guests, adding to the ‘zen’ atmosphere – simple and lovely.  The couple’s yoga teacher traveled especially from Rishikesh, India to bless the young couple with a traditional fire ceremony.  A little rain before the sun came out somehow made everything seem fresh and sparkly as the bride emerged, smiling and stunning in white.  The overall feeling was very relaxed and a special day was had by all involved.
