Marcus and Karen wanted an elegant, relaxed wedding with great food + great service. Their love of Mediterranean Moorish food brought them to Open Table Catering Byron Bay. Our correspondence took place whilst they traveled through Spain and Morocco. They were so excited by the diversity of food, colours, flavours and spices, that they had asked me to include it in their wedding menu. This included the famous Pigeon Bastillia, usually served at weddings and Cardamon Chocolate Mousse served with Honey Halva Floss.
It was an easy and fun collaboration from menu planning to cooking the feast on the day.
The wedding was planned and coordinated by the gorgeous Maria from Frank and Joy at the enchanted French farm, Deux Belette.
Thank you so much for contributing so beautifully to our wedding day. The food was absolutely stunning with all guests commenting on the freshness, presentation and overall quality. The fact that it was all cooked on site at Deux Belette, was amazing and your team was friendly, and fit so well into the atmosphere of the day. Your helpfulness and flexibility before the wedding was also appreciated, making it all possible.
I can honestly say that I would encourage and persuade anyone I know who needs caterers to you, without any hesitation whatsoever…. I am still getting feedback about how good the food was.
Many many thanks,
Karen & Marcus”
